About me

I am a senior clinical psychologist at Melville House Clinic in Palmyra WA where I provide individual psychotherapy to adults who present with a wide range of personal and/or interpersonal difficulties.

I completed my studies in Clinical Psychology at The University of Western Australia in the 1990s and I have worked in adult mental health for 20+ years since. I trained in a range of therapeutic modalities (including CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT, and Schema Therapy), which informed many years of clinical practice across both public and private adult mental health settings. Eventually, my longstanding interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy led me to complete a four year post-graduate training program with the Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of WA (APPWA) and to join as a member in 2023.

I have a strong commitment to my ongoing professional development, a general love of learning, and I enjoy working collaboratively and tailoring therapy to the unique circumstances and needs of each individual. I am particularly interested in working longer term with those seeking to explore the underlying, often unconscious, sources of their emotional, personal, and/or interpersonal difficulties.

I take pride in offering a professional and caring service to my clients, their referrers, and my supervisees.
